Volunteering at the Lynn Valley Lions Christmas Tree Lot is a big win for all involved! It’s great to see the Argyle football players volunteering for this yearly community event.

Thank you for the Lynn Valley Lions Scholarship for $500. I am starting at UBC next week doing applied biology, and this money will be very helpful in assisting to pay for my studies. I appreciate the generosity of the Lions Club to help further my education.

I would like to thank you for considering me for this scholarship. Like other students who are embarking into university next year, this can be a tough financial time for many. This is true for myself, which is why I can’t thank you enough for your contribution. Next year, I will be studying for my Bachelor of Business alongside playing soccer with the Capilano Blues! Since much of my time will be devoted to studying and training, I won’t have as much time to work and I cannot help my family mitigate the costs of university tuition for this year.

The Lynn Valley Lions Club provide financial support to the program directly.  This funding allows us to keep player’s fees reasonable and to subsidize any players who cannot afford to play.  We have used donations from the LVL to purchase new helmets which is a huge help.

Thank you  so much for the scholarship!  I am extremely grateful for receiving such a  generous award and plan on putting it to good use towards my education! Thank you again!

On behalf of the residents of Cedarwood Lodge, I would like to personally express my  thank you to every member of the Lynn Valley Lions Club who visited on Easter Sunday and brought such joy to the residents. I understand that even the Easter Bunny was on hand.  These wonderful moments bring joy and happiness at a very important time of year and it is your generous sharing of your time, resources and attention which makes it very special indeed. The residents appreciated your visit and the staff truly value how your visit brings happiness to the lives of the residents.

Thank you for supporting the Canadian Diabetes Association. Your  Lions Club’s fundraising and volunteering efforts help the Association fulfill its mission to lead the fight against diabetes by helping people with diabetes live healthy lives while we work to find a cure.

Thank you for your thoughtful gift to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in honour of Adele Talbot. Your donation is already at work saving lives and helping to develop healthier communities. Please know your contributions are greatly valued and a wonderful memorial tribute.

Thank you Lynn Valley Lions for generously donating your time and food supplies to our Pumpkin Path! With your support, we raised enough to buy 10 iPads for the school!

On behalf of all the members of the Mount Seymour Lions Club, we wish to say a huge Thank You to you and all the other Lynn Valley Lions who helped us at the Canada Day breakfast. As we noted previously, we served over 800 breakfasts and netted just over $2900.
Our Club could not handle an event like this without the support of your Club.  Your assistance is truly appreciated and we look forward to reciprocating at the tree lot, Lynn Valley Days, etc.

Last year, we were able to raise over $37,000 which helped community-based care services to improve and sustain the quality of life of foster children.
